Cadd9 – X32013

Capo 1

G Cadd9 G Cadd9

  Bm C
I didn't look over my shoulder
Bm D
I wasn't ready for this
Bm C
Didn't see the signs over the horizon
  Em Em/F# Am D C
I was so sure that you would never leave but you did

Chorus:
   G Cadd9
So sweep away the sand, the tide, the ocean and just
Am D
Pack the moon and stars up in a cardboard box and
G Cadd9
Stop the clocks from chimin', block the sun from shinin'
Am C
And Paint the sky a deeper shade of blue
                 D G
Cause my world's over without you

I know I should just keep goin'
But I don't know where to start
I never thought I'd see the day when
You'd go and leave me here with my broken heart, but you did

Chorus

Em
Maybe someday all the pain will fade
C
Maybe this hurt will slowly slip away
Am
Maybe some days will never change
    D G
And I'll still love you

Solo

2nd ½ of chorus:
Stop the clocks from chimin'
Block the sun from shinin'
Paint the sky a deeper shade of blue
Cause my world's over without you

My world's over without you

Stop the clocks from chimin'
Stop the clocks from chimin'
Block the sun from shinin'
Block the sun from shinin'

You've got the Cadd9 wrong. What you've got there is a C with a G on the top string rather than a E (as in the normal way of playing a C). A Cadd9 needs a D in it so it should be played as:

EAGDBe

I honestly don't know the name of the chord so I called it that but put the fingering correct...
