Great job with a terribly written (by the artist and original songwriter) song. I was asked to sing this in a wedding and was embarrased to do so! Thanks for making it a little less painful.

I was wondering why it was tabbed in 'C' and not 'D'. He is singing in D, BTW. Personally I love this song; it's the meter that drives me nuts. I can't quite tell yet if those 10 beats are 6/4, 4/6 or 7/3. Still, I thought Kip did a great job with it.

That was why I put the comment at the top of the tab - for people just learning guitar, if I can tab something that is in standard tuning, it makes it easier for them to be able to play the song...

The official video is capo 2 with the same chords shown in this tab...easier to follow and play!

All a capo does is change the key - many times you will see an artist sing one way on the CD and differently when playing live...
