Jesus Was a Capricorn--Kris Kristofferson

Here's one to practice barre chords on (and the right lyrics, too)

Verse 1:

F# B F#
Jesus was a Capricorn he ate organic foods
                                  G# C#
He believed in love and peace and never wore no shoes

Verse 2:

F# B F#
Long hair beard and sandles and a funky bunch of friends
                                 C# F#
Reckon they'd just nail him up if he came down again

CHORUS:

      B F#
Cause everybody's got to have somebody to look down on
C# B F#
Who they can feel better than at anytime they please
B F#
Someone doin somethin dirty decent folks can frown on
     C# B F#
If you can't find nobody else then help yourself to me

Verse 3 (same as verse 1)

Egg Head's cussin Redneck's cussin hippies for their hair
Others laught at straights who laugh at freaks who laugh at squares

Verse 4 (same as verse 2)

Some folks hate the whites who hate the blacks who hate the Klan
Most of us hate anything that we don't understand

CHORUS

F# 244322
B x24442
G# 466544
C# x46664

(if any of these chord notations are wrong, let me know...
I did 'em from memory, and I tend to forget numbers...)

The correct spelling of Jesus' choice of footwear is "Sandals", not "Sandles".

Why hasn't anyone posted the fingerpicking patterns used on this song? Beautiful stuff...
