That happened to cross my (E) mind
‘Bout living in the country and the (B) cities
So listen, if you are so (E) inclined

(E) Didn’t start to play till  I was (A) seventy
I know my timing and voice not the (E) best
I’ve other CDs with songs a- (B) plenty
That I hope you’ll play when I’m at (E) rest

God granted me the time to try many (A) things
Blessed my family and my (E) life
Gave me good feelings when I play and (B) sing
Most of all my lovely and caring (E) wife

So when the urge comes upon (A) you

Play a little tune or (B) two
