Get (D) a little of (G) that natural (D) air
You can get it several (A) ways
Open (D) the window at (G) top of the (D) stairs
So pleasing, especially on (A) hot summer (D) days

I used to lay on the (G) cool linoleum (D) floor
No shirt, just bib over-(A) alls
Peeking (D) thru the (G) old screen (D) door
The smell of sweet (A) clover, best of (D) all

Or sit on the old (G) bench of (D) wood
Under the big white oak (A) tree
Follow (D) white fluffy (G) clouds best I (D) could
Or watch the horizon as (A) far as I could (D) see

Open the windows (G) at bed-(D) time
Breathe in that natural (A) air
Outside (D) natures (G) life of its (D) own
I was young and (A) growing, without a (D) care

I am old now, and (G) slowed down quite a (D) bit
But I still enjoy that quiet (A) time
And that country, (G) westerly (D) breeze
I think of as      Natural  (A) Air that is truly (D) mine
