(Chorus:)
E
I feel no shame
E
I'm proud of where I came from
      Dno3 A G(Note) E
I was born and raised in the boon.....docks
E
One thing I know
E
No matter where I go
          Dno3 A G(Note) E
I keep my heart and soul in the boon....docks

          Bm7
And I can feel that
D E
Muddy water runnin' through my veins
          Bm7
And I can hear that
D E
Lullaby of a midnight train
       Dno3 A/Db
And it sings to me and it sounds familiar

(Repeat Chorus)

          Bm7
And I can taste that
D E
Honeysuckle and it's still so sweet
        Bm7
When it grows wild
D E
On the banks down at old Camp Creek
             Dno3 A/Db
Yeah, and it calls to me like a warm wind blowin'

(Repeat Chorus)

A E
It's where I learned about livin'
A E
It's where I learned about love
A E
It's where I learned about workin' hard
             D (Db B A - step-down notes)
And havin' a little was just enough
A E
It's where I learned about Jesus
A E
And knowin' where I stand
A E
You can take it or leave it
D A/Db E
This is me, this is who I am

(Lead solo chords:) E - E - D - A - G(note) - E

Bm7 (B Db - step up notes to upcoming D2 chord)
Give me a tin roof
  D2(chord notes D thru E) E
A front porch and a gravel road
           Dno3
And that's home to me
              A/Db
It feels like home to me

(Repeat Chorus, end with extra last line as follows:)

         (F# E D Db D Db AhBpA G E - step-down notes)
I keep my heart and soul in the booooon...docks

We'll go fishin' in the crawfish hole
Five-card poker on Saturday night

You get a line, I'll get a pole

Hi. Updates for our chord file here need to include, 1) This file was created from listening to a promo version of the release version of the song, 2) The CD insert shows the lyric of "train" should be "rain" even though it sounds like train, and 3) There are three extra end segments on the CD version - still played like the two shown at the end of the file. Thanks for your understanding.
