Warm Wind
Mal Pope
Mal Pope played with Elton John for a long time.
Probably the most under-rated writer/muscian
in the world. He lives in Wales,GB.
While this song was written about W.T. Stead,
a Journalist who died aborad the Titanic and
about his life as a peace advocate, I can't
help but think of Christ in the garden of
Gethsemane when I hear it.
W.T. Stead had written a fictional
story about a ship hitting a iceberg an sinking
with great loss of life because of too small
number of lifeboats, several years before Titanic.
He was in line for the Noble Peace Prize at his
death.
