I think that the Dmaj7 that you have in the verse might be just an A chord. That's what it sounded like to me on the CD. The rest is great though, I've been looking for this song. Thanks!!! -jblke | 7/30/2003 | Dmaj7 is the right chord
on the line "make you happy if you let me" instead of Em to G/B it should be Em to Em7 020000. I tried it both ways with the cd and I think this makes more sense
on the next line "won't you let me" add a C(add9) after the Cmaj7 -victorcoral1 | 8/26/2003 | Thank you soo much for posting this I nearly killed myself trying to figure out the 2nd chord on the bridge after the Am. The only alterations that I think is that on the Chorus the progression should be D, Asus, G, Asus and repeat until you get the last line with the C2. Also on the bridge in place of the B7, you could also play a B/D# which is played like an A/C# but down 2 frets. After the Em, it sounds very much like an Em/D, which was basically posted as the Em7 in the earlier post. I just think the correct term for it is the Em/D because you're plaing the D bass. Also, the A chord has a C# bass note in it making it an A/C#. Here are the chord diagrams: A/C# x42220 B/D# x6444x Em/D x20000 Thanks again for charting this out!! -jonraz | 11/15/2004 |
