Modello
Mike McClure
Camelot Falling

G
I got dust on my tennis shoes
C G
Couple empty bottles of beer
 	  	    D
They were called Modello
 	  	   C
They were made in Mexico
 	  	    G
They were pretty good

I got a jar full of pennies
Nickels, quarters, and dimes
I gave the orders
Don’t you take my quarters
She gets them every time

 	   C
She’s my lady
 	  	   G
And we fight sometimes
 	  	   D
Drive each other crazy
 	  	   C G
Plumb out of our freaking mind
 	 C
At the end of the day
 	   G Em
It don’t matter what you say
 	    D G
She’ll be standing right by my side

I stayed out late last night at a friend’s garage
Until 2:00am
We were listening to the stones
Smoking a couple bowls
Taking it all in

I only told her I’d be gone a little while
Said baby don’t you worry none
She was mad as hell
I came in and fell
Right back in love

I got dust on my tennis shoes
Couple empty bottles of beer
They were called Modello
They were made in Mexico
They were pretty good

The album Sounds like it should be played with a capo on the 2nd fret but other than that great tab

Capo where you wish. I posted it how I play it. I have yet to compare my version with the album...I've been playing this for the last two years...was typing it from memory. I'm sure it should be capoed somewhere.

Playing it for the last two years? How does that work?

It was recently released, but it's an old song.

This song is in the key of A not G. And just a side note...... It's "Modelo" not "Modello".
