It is actually an Ian Moore song, I believe. Even though the recording is bad, it clearly sounds like mac to me. It does, however sound like Stoney playing lead. As for the reference to it being a Cody Canada song, I don't know what that's all about. It is an Ian Moore song and is credited as so on that site.
