The whole song is basicly A G D. The D is the only thing that is different.
Listen to the song and you will figure it out. Mike McClure's new cd is the
s**t check it out. You can also use power chords.

A G D
I woke up in the back seat
A G D
Of a long white cadie
A G D
I was stairing at the floor board
              G D
about the time every thing went black

I woke up in San Francisco

An empty bottle was in my hand

Somebody leaned into the back seat

and said something bout the promise land

So I pulled out my pistle

I fired a few shots in the wind

I told that driver keep your eyes on the road boy

I fired a few shots off again

A G D
I'm a wild child
A G D
I'm a wild one baby

I'm a wild child

I'm a wild one baby

and so on

I know the recording is like what is posted but if you ever watch him play live he play another verse at the beginning something to the affect of pre>" If I had a macheade I'd kill everyone of you, Just to watch you die, I'd hack you body into little pieces, yeahh i'd watch'em fry"/pre>

You wouldn't happen to know what effects pedals and stuff Rodney uses for his lead to give it that "waaah" kinda thing. I don't think it's a waah pedal though. I think it's this kinda jazz thing i've seen at the store but i wanted to know if anyone else knew.

That is Correct about the extra line the song is about Elvis and that line comes from something about how when Elvis was messed up on pills and stuff he would say crazy things like that.
