Seven Wonders
by Nickel Creek
Tabbed by: Aaron Bonner

This is just the general chord progression. On the album
there are a lot of arpeggios, and of course more
instruments than just a guitar.Any questions about the
picking pattern can be sent to a_j_bonner at excite.com

Not sure on the chord names

Intro - same as verse

Verse

When shadows fall he'll close his eyes to hear the
Am/G C/G

clocks unwind, powerless to leash the hands of time.
 dsus4 F/G C/G F?/G Am/G

Kingdoms fall, the earth revolves.
                              C/G

The rain will come this spring
             dsus4
and nothing he could say would change a thing.
    F/G C/G F?/G F

Chorus

Seven Wonders crowed the man, knowing six are gone,

          C/G F?/G F C/G F?/G

how the great illusion lingers on
  D C F C A

i know that sean plays this song capoed on the fourth fret. the
first chord is 4th fret(relative to the capo) on the A string and D
string and 2nd fret on the G string. the rest are open. then there
is (i think) an A chord and E chord

He's right, it's third capo and you leave the B and high E string open
throughout the song. The chords for the verse in relation to the capo
are:
F#m F#m A B D A E (repeat as needed)
For the chorus:
D A E D A E B E A G#m B B
(The last B without the E and B strings open
(I still haven't figured out the chords for the violin solo)
Then the bridge at the end is:
F#m F#m A E
