Dudette! -bywater_whistle | 3/24/2003 | First off, this is a great TAB job, it’s more correct than the other one and I am going out on a limb here. I am not an expert but this song sounds like it has either a “d” note or “g” note playing through the entire song. I don’t know how he actually plays it, but when just singing along with the guitar, I think it sounds better to incorporate some of these notes into the chords. Try playing these chords (in place of Bm, Em, C, G) in the places I have noted:
B/G: 220033 Em7: 022030 C/G: 032033 G: 320033
In the verses:
G B/G Em7 C/G D However you feel, whatever it takes G B/G Em7 C/G D Whenever it's real, whatever awaits me G B/G Em7 C/G D Whatever you need, however so slight G B/G Em7 C/G D Whenever it's real, whenever it's right
And the chorus:
C/G G A7 C/G I could spit on a stranger (Pull me out) C/G G A7 C/G You're a bitter stranger (Pull me out)
