"When in Rome"
by Nickel Creek
Composed by Chris Thile

This is a more accurate When in Rome Intro, I believe. I know for a fact that
everything is played in Second Position (the video and the way Chris Thile
played it on Jay Leno), it fairly easy, I haven't quite figured out the tie-in
to the lyrics yet. It's getting there.

hello thile do you also have the chords for this song?
-jfwjfw | 10/7/2005
Dude, all I can tell you is that most of the song for mandolin (and guitar) is all open strings. Genius what Thile does, with like absolutely nothing. During the first Section (where can a sick man go), he just strumming an open G, D, and A. I commend anyone who discovers the other chords.

Well, it's not just the G D and A. In the verses it's all open except the 2nd fret on the G, then third, then open, something like that. Wouldn't know the chords. I'm too lazy. Plus i don't play mandolin. I'm just using a fiddle to figure it out, and i played it on a mandolin in a store.
