I had to lie 
To make an end. 
But I still love you, 
I always will. 
You never moved for me 
But I feel you still. 


You stood there like a flower,
And I helped you grow each day. 
You blossomed oh so beautiful 
Now and then you'd sway. 
But you'd never leave your roots, 
To come and see me round my way. 
I can't tell you heart to heart, 
Still wanna give you mouth to mouth. 
And so you remain, 
My flower of the south. 

Through the months, 
Through the days. 
I've come to know you, 
In so many ways. 
But I see through you, 
See through those eyes. 
You made a fool out of me.
