Coasting the strip in a rusted out Ford
Bed full of friends, four on the floor 

Barely 18, their only speed was fast 
They'd run it all night ‘til they ran out of gas

Lifting up the hood to get it started, 
It was there Cadillac, never left them brokenhearted
