Isn't this a Radney Foster song..I am pretty sure it is. I haven't heard Pat's version, but the lyrics look the same. -crozelle | 10/9/2004 |
lol I'm honestly not sure. I like Jack, he's a cool guy with good music, I've met him before, but Pat is the God, to me. So I honestly have no idea if this is a Jack Ingram song originally...but I KNOW it's a Pat Green song, NOW. ;D -Smoothie7745 | 10/14/2004 |
Yep, Radney Foster does this one too Great job btw! -Guitar_Geek | 10/25/2004 |
Yep Radney wrote this one... Radney is in the same class with Rodney Crowell, Phil Vassar, Pat and others as the best songwriters in Nashville.. Radney is my boy! -Goodspeed742 | 10/27/2004 |
Thanks for the feeback guys. Awesome songwriters you mentioned there... ;) -Smoothie7745 | 10/29/2004 |
Great Tab for a Great Song....which C/E do you use...I can't find the one that sounds good. Thanks -pktnermal | 11/11/2004 |
I emailed you back, but here is the explanation for everyone else:
It's a chord played in transition to "F" from "C". Basically, play a "C" chord, then hit the low "E" string open as a walk up to "F". It's the same theory that works with a "G" chord, where you might play an "F#" note on the low "E" string before getting to the "G", but transposed down to the key of "C". If there's enough response here, I'll post a soundbyte with both a) verbal instruction, and b) an aural demonstration.
Let me know!

Yea'... Smoothie, could you go ahead and post that byte - that would be a great help. I'm just starting out on the guitar, but that might help w/ my "education." Thanx. -Sinko_C | 2/22/2005 |
