-Smoothie7745 | 12/22/2004 | Thanks, I'll give that a try.....great tab!
Steven -73mgb | 12/22/2004 | if you want you can just play a regular "C" Chord instead of "Cadd9" when your not playing with the recording. sounds good to me try it and let me know what you think.
-tayclear | 1/10/2005 | While a regular C does work just fine (C and Cadd9 are both obviously still based on the "C" chord), to play the song exactly how it's recorded, it's important to use the Cadd9 where notated. Both definitely can work though, if you're just used to playing a full C. However, note that in the steel guitar solo there is a regular C as opposed to Cadd9 - that's the reason it's written the way it is, because at that particular point of the song, Pat uses a full "C" instead of the Cadd9, so there's a difference in the sound. The difference between a Cadd9 and a C is subtle, but I just figured for accuracy's sake I'd notate it as close to perfect as I'm capable of getting it. -Smoothie7745 | 1/11/2005 | its prooly the Cadd9 alot of the Texas people play with that including lyle Lovett and REK for the folks who know who that is -Drop_D_Blues | 2/13/2005 | awesome job job on this tab; thanks for including the easier version for the intro -superag06 | 4/13/2005 | No problem, hope you get good use out of it. Happy picking! -Smoothie7745 | 4/13/2005 | I really like Pat's music glad we got some great tabbers to help us all out. Thanks brother. -mlbrown8021 | 4/27/2005 |
