This should be right. It sounds like he's playing on 2 strings so this is what i came up with.

Play with CAPO 1

(notes relative to capo position)

E---------------------------------------------------
B---6--6-5-5-3-3----6--6-5-5-1-1--------------------
G--10-10-9-9-7-7---10-10-9-9-5-5--0-5~--------------
D---------------------------------------------------
A---------------------------------------------------
E---------------------------------------------------

E---------------------------------------------------
B---6--6-5-5-3-3--3/5-3--------------1--------------
G--10-10-9-9-7-7--7/9-7-5--5-2----------------------
D------------------------------5--2h3---2~----------
A---------------------------------------------------
E---------------------------------------------------

The last part is easier like this but i think it sounds
better the other way.
E---------------------------------------------------
B---6--6-5-5-3-3--3/5-3-----------------------------
G--10-10-9-9-7-7--7/9-7-5--5-2-0-----5--------------
D---------------------------------2h3--3-2~---------
A---------------------------------------------------
E---------------------------------------------------

I'm not sure if Joe Don plays this with capo 1 but i tabbed it like this since
it is a little bit easier with it on and the chords are submitted on here with
a capo 1.

COMMENTS/CORRECTIONS are appreciated.

Thanx to rooster for that one part at the end!!!

try tuning a 1/2 step down @ Eb and play only on the the B and open high E strings starting at the 7th fret -8th - 7th - 5th - 3rd and back to the 7th.

I saw the music video... It looks like its only on one string... the g string. So i dunno. Its probably some effect.

he uses a memory man pedal for a lot of this stuff. unfortunately, the tab is way off, but oh well

OMG U ARE ON MY NERVES RAGINCAJUN!!! EVERY TAB I PUT UP U SAY IS WAY OFF AND DONT CORRECT THEM AT ALL!!! THERES NO USE FOR YOU TO ALWAYS MAKE MY TABS LOOK BAD WHEN THERE REALLY NOT AND YOU CAN'T DO ANY BETTER! Hey bud I just wanted to pass along a intro that I think is eisier and sounds alittle fuller than the one you have here. instead of the octave 6/10. Just do 6/7 on the same strings then play the erst of the lick on just the B string and the open E. Gives you a more resonant sound, and you dont have to have your guitar perfectly in tune with itself. hope you like it

sorry dude, it might just be my cruddy guitar playing, but doesnt sound anything like the intro... proabably me though

-brandtfan | 11/22/2005
Not a knock at all because I have had tabs criticized by folks who submit nothing. However, I just watched a live performance and this tab is not accurate. I'll try to get one up when I get the time. Thanks for the effort though...
