It sounds to me like the C you show here
(its a C9) should really just be played
C=032010
It sounds to me a lot like the same riff as
their other song "Hey Say May" from
Millican. You can make this fast shift
from G to C and back if you can play your
G=320003 with your pinky on bottom e and ring finger on top E. The sound isnt as
full, but its very convincing.
