(No Chord) D
From a jack to a king
                     A A7
From lonliness to a wedding ring

I played an ace and I won a queen
                           D
And walked away with your heart

From a jack to a king
                              A A7
With no regret I stacked the cards last night

And lady luck played her hand just right
                          D-G-D
And made me king of your heart

            G
For just a little while
                        D
I thought that I might lose the game
              E
Then just in time I saw
     E7 A-A7
The twinkle in your eye

(No Chord) D
From a jack to a king
                     A A7
From lonliness to a wedding ring

I played an ace and I won a queen
                           D-G-D
That made me king of your heart

Instead of tuning your guitar a 1/2 step up, you could use a capo on the first fret, and play in D. It's the same key.
