GOODBYE ON A BAD DAY Shannon Lawson

B C#m B
You slipped off your wedding band And tucked it deep

inside my hand
E B
Forced a smile and headed towards the door
        A
And as you walked out I heard you say
  E
Things just haven't been going our way
C#m B A
I don't love you any-more Now after the day I had
    B
I could have done without that.

CHORUS:
             E C#m
I'd rather watch the house we built burn to the ground
A B
Stand out in the pouring rain let the good Lord strike me down
         A E C#m
Then to sit here and watch you walk a-way
have my whole world walk a-way
C#m A B E
Anything would be better than your good-bye on a bad day.
  1.)B to 2nd verse 2.)A B A B to bridge

                C#m
I've seen that look I can always tell
           B
It means stay away from me and go straight to hell
         A B
That's exactly where I'll be when you're gone
     C#m B
And after a day like this My whole world's gone all wrong
Go to chorus
BRIDGE:
(B) C#m
Wo Oh You're the one thing I had left
           E
When the whole world holds me down
    C#m
Now how can I keep going when you're not around
Go to chorus

ENDING:
A E
Ohhhhhhh-oh-oh-oh
