There was one line in the song I was unsure of. In my tab, its the 4th line from the bottom:
"And I'll wait for I don't want to die alone"
If anyone can tell me for sure what its supposed to be, I'd appreciate it. Just leave a message here or email me at slwst8@yahoo.com...Oh yeh, if I messed up anything else please let me know too!! God knows I don't know what I'm doing most of the time!

The verse is right... Great job! That Bm+5 is normally called a G/B -EMRLDEYZS | 6/4/2004 |
Great Tab!! I'm so excited. So...in response to your lyric question. I'm a radio DJ so I have a demo copy with the lyrics and a couple versions, They Lyric (although it's hard to hear" is:
"And I'll wait for you; don't want to die alone"
It's in there...you just have to listen hard!! What an awesome song!

I can't wait to try this song. I am not a great guitar player. Just basics. How do you play Cadd9 chord? Thanks -mkt97 | 9/19/2004 |
mkt97, take a look there at the bottom of the song. I have the chords tabbed out for you. -slwst8 | 9/19/2004 |
I just wanted to thank you. The first time i heard this song, i cried...it touched home for me...My boyfriend is in the service and he is headed over to Iraq in a few weeks. I've wanted to learn it so that i can play it for him before he leaves. Thanks again. You are truly awesome! God Bless! Love always, *~*~Sarah~*~* -sarahishere | 10/3/2004 |
Sarah... it did the same to me. I'm now in Iraq, seeing the horror here first hand, and just thinking about this song brings tears. I'm a nurse and work in the operating room and many of the injured you see on the news, I see in the O.R. Whether I'm working on an American, Iraqi, or otherwise, its hard not to think about being back home. I just thank God I'm only doing a 4 month deployment with the Air Force and not 6 months or a year like the Marines and the Army. Those guys and gals deserve so much credit for what they do... Take care - Shannon -slwst8 | 10/3/2004 |
Yeah...my boyfriend is in the ARMY...he is going to be in Korea for 6 months then Iraq for a year. Thanks so much! I admire everything you do for our country! God bless! Love always, *~*~Sarah~*~* -sarahishere | 10/10/2004 |

This is a great song and a great tab (which is so typical of Shantel). Could someone please consider tabbing out the actual picking pattern for this song? Or better yet, just re-create these chords (which sound dead-on to me)in actual tabulature format? I'm just a beginner, but would love to learn to play this song correctly (instead of just strumming these chords). THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION! -Wareaglerl | 2/4/2005 |
