Slim Dusty - Saddle Boy

DOREEN KEY G

Verses
          G
Thru the grey frosty dawn,
       C
ev'ry cold winter's morn,
           G C G D7
rode this lad full of life and joy
       G
ev'ry day just the same
          C
down the roadway he came.
        D7 G
He was known as their own saddle boy.

Last verse
         C
Now the sad willows wave
          G
O'er the old silent grave,
                                 D7
Where the tall grasses bend and bow.
         G
And the jackass's laugh
        C
is the only epitaph
          D7 G
o'er the grave of this brave saddle boy.

Great song it would just be great if the whole song was tabbed...

If some one can post the lyrics to the rest of the song
in the disscussion forum I'll fix the tab..

I realise it is some time since this post has been made would like to put my
two bobs worth in.
I can not play the song in that particular key.I usually play it in "D".
Seems so much better, but maybe thats just the key that suits my voice.
I ahe the lyrics to the song if any one would like them.

Have not long been onto this site but it appears to be very good.
Keep up the good work.

Why is it that songs always get rated lowly by people who have
never submitted a tab themselves?? Anchorman???
