TENNESSEE BLUES
Steve Earle

Capo 2

Intro

(D) Sunset in my mirror, pedal on the floor
Bound for New York City and I (G) won't be back no more
(A) Won't be back no more, boys (Em) won't see me a(G)round
Goodbye (D) Guitar Town

Ghosts out on the highway, voices on the wind
Tellin' me that we may never pass this way again
Voices on the highway angels beckonin'
Like a long lost friend

(A) Fare thee well (G) I'm bound to (D) roam
(A) This ain't never (G) been my (D) home

Stranger in my mirror, lines around my eyes
String around my finger but I don't remember why
Don't remember why, boys don't remember how
Goodbye guitar town

Solo

(A) Fare thee well (G) I'm bound to (D) roam
(A) This ain't never (G) been my (D) home

Blue dog on my floorboard, redhead by my side
Cross the mighty Hudson river to the New York City side
Redhead by my side, boys sweetest thing I've found
Goodbye guitar town

Is there anybody out there 1 2 3 trying to learn Tennessee Blues? Just got schooled by Steve his-self on this great Homespun lesson:

http://www.homespuntapes.com/Instructors/steve-earle/learn-the-songs-and-guitar-picking-of-steve-earle

FYI, he uses a partial five string capo at the second fret.

Have fun!!
