i dont think this is right... the chord progression should be G,
(variation of D), Em, Cadd9, G. then a sweet little slide down the
neck in the Cadd9 formation then back to G.... if you want to know
more... let me know. Phil Pritchett plays this in concert alot and
its awesome and thats how he plays it... also it was first done by
Little Feat. I can tell you more if you want more about it.

you are right - i used to know that little slide down the neck and now for the life of it i can't put it back together. any help you could give.... and Steve does play essentially the same run that George wrote and played for Little Feat

In response, that's practically what I am
playing only in the simple version - You say
the progression should be:

G, a Variation of D, Em, Cadd9, G

whereas I am playing:

G, G/F# (which can be changed to D/F#), Em,
C, G.

I chose the G/F# as it is the transition
chord between G and Em and I also try to
make it easy on the new guitar player.
