Hello – Sugarland
Album: Twice The Speed of Life

This is my first time tabbing a song. I know some of the notes are off, but
for someone (me) who hasn’t taken a guitar lesson in his life or claim to read
music well, this should get the ball rolling until someone with more
experience can correct it.

*Capo 3*

Intro: C - Fmaj7 - G x 2

      Am Fmaj7
I was born in the heart of a hurricane season
       G Am7
In the house where my mamma was raised
     G Fmaj7
That old September wind feels just like a long lost friend
    G
And I...

(Chorus:)
          C Fmaj7 G
I want to run through those cottonwood trees
     C Fmaj7 G
Fall asleep in a big bed of fresh fallen leaves
       Am G Fmaj7
And in every wind that blows there's a song of letting go
         G (C-Fmaj7-G x 2)
It's not goodbye, it's hello

        Am Fmag7
When we met underneath the blue skies of summer
          G Am7
And those summer skies turn into fall
     G Fmaj7
That sweet September wind made us so much more than friends
    G
One Night...

(Chorus:)
       C Fmaj7 G
And we ran through those cottonwood trees
        C Fmaj7 G
We made love in a big bed of fresh fallen leaves
       Am G Fmaj7
And in every wind that blows there's an innocence that knows
         G C
It's not goodbye, it's hello

       Fmaj7 G
In the moment that one thing ends
       Fmaj7 G
Is the same time that one begins
    Am G
And return as we must
       Am7 Em - Fmaj7 - G
We are ashes to dust, amen.

Solo:
     Am - Fmag7 - G - Am7 - G - Fmag7 - G

         Am Fmaj7
When the days of my youth have all faded
        G Am7
And the memories are all that remain
         G Fmaj7
Let that old September wind take me back to where I've been
   G
So I...

(Chorus:)

      C Fmaj7 G
I can run through those cottonwood trees
    C Fmaj7 G
And remember the smell of those fresh fallen leaves
       Am G Fmaj7
Now in every wind that blows there's a part of me that knows
         G (C - Fmaj7 - G x 2)
It's not goodbye, it's hello

The A and the Em7 chords during the verse doesn't seem to be intune with the recording. Could you fix that some time its really bugging me? Thank you.

For the verses, try this:
Am Fmaj7 G Am
G Fmaj7 G
Chorus sounds alright!
Try this for the bridge:
Fmaj7 G Fmaj7 G
Am G Fmaj7 G Fmaj7 G

Let me know what you think!!
