Great song and good job tabbing it out. Looks spot-on to me. In some of their live acoustic performances Kimberly will play a lot of open chords, or variations of them, which I tend to favor over your textbook G-D-A-Bm progression: most notably the Bm (i.e., X-X-4-3-2-0 relative to the capo) or G (3-2-0-2-3-0) but as far as the general chord progression goes, you're spot on like I said. Great job. -alrightguy | 7/14/2010 |
i could be dead wrong, but trying to piece together and make sense of the lyrics would it be "bus boys" (like the clothing/shoe brand) instead of "best boys"? maybe something that I'm just hearing... the ears do funny things sometimes -coreySrocks | 9/15/2010 |
its like "put on your best, boys and ill wear my pearls" -beer_tab84 | 9/27/2010 |
Great tab -- one correction
Oh, and (G) life ain't always what you (D)think it oughta be No, (A) it ain't even grey when she (Bm)buries her baby
She is talking about the idea that it should be gloomy when you bury someone. -kylemac73 | 10/5/2010 |
She's actually talking about how the mother's hair isn't grey yet.... because she's still too young to have to bury her child. -kalibug316 | 10/6/2010 |
