glad you posted. I am doing it pretty much the same way. But, while watching some of the videos, I notice it looks a little different in places. For instance the A he is using his thumb and index...and pinky, It works nicely. A few more variations that i'm trying to work out. I think the G at times he is adding the low root G to the drop D(or E more precisely) and then sliding up for the A. What do you think? Check out their video performance at the Staion Inn for example
