Tim McGraw/Faith Hill - It's Your Love (acoustic)

By axehappy - axehappy at countrytabs.com

The chorus is mainly just strummed, but for the chords at the end of each chorus,
over 'It's your love', follow the picking from the intro for those chords.

G           =   320033                                 D/F#     =   200232

C(add9) = x32033 D/C = x3x232

Em          =   022000                                 D        =   xx0232

G D/F# C(add9) D/C C(add9)
INTRO

G D/F#
Dancing in the dark, middle of the night,
Em C(add9)
Taking your heart and holding it tight.
G D/F#
Emotional touch, touching my skin,
Em C(add9)
And asking you to do, what you've been doing all over again.
           D/F# G D/F# Em
Oh, it's a beautiful thing, don't think I can keep it all in.
       C(add9) D
I just gotta let you know, what it is that'a won't let me go.

          G D/F#
It's your love, it just does something to me,
                    Em C(add9)
Sends a shock right through me, I can't get enough.
           G D/F#
And if you wonder, about the spell I'm under,
    C(add9) D/C C(add9)
Oh, it's your love.

G D/F#
Better than I was, more than I am,
    Em C(add9)
And all of this happened by taking your hand.
    G D/F#
And who I am now, is who I wanted to be,
    Em
And now that we're together,
                            C(add9)
I'm stronger than ever, I'm happy and free.
           D/F# G D/F# Em
Oh, it's a beautiful thing, don't think I can keep it all in.
           C(add9) D
And if you ask me why I've changed, all I gotta do is say your sweet name.

          G D/F#
It's your love, it just does something to me,
                    Em C(add9)
Sends a shock right through me, I can't get enough.
           G D/F#
And if you wonder, about the spell I'm under,
    C(add9) D/C C(add9)
Oh, it's your love.

The intro isn't completely right... I've listened to the song about
25 times, and realized that there are too many picks...It should be
as follows, the G and D/F# are climbs that go to the middle # and
back down.. You guys know what I'm talking about. I'm not sure what
it's called musicaly.
(G-3x00300x3, D/F#-2x02320x2, Cadd9-x3x033, D/A-x3x232, Cadd9-
x3x003) The picks should stay on the same strings, just not have as
many... There is only 7 picks for the first two climbs, 4 for the
next three. Take a look at it and try it out.

Remember that this is for the acoustic
version of the song...the album version has
a different intro, and that might be where
you're getting the confusion. ;)
