but I think this is right

eww, mine is right, i would know, im tim mcgraw.
-patlock | 4/8/2003
We all hear things differently, maybe mine is one or two open
strings different than yours but that doesn't mean one is "all wrong"
and one isn't, that's just your interpretation of how you're hearing
it. This one is mine, it sounds like the CD to me, I've gone over
this tab a hundred times trying to get it to the record. It's all a
G chord in the intro anyway so no matter how you play it it's
gonna sound like the song. Listen to the soundbyte as well for the
timing, sometimes playing something in the wrong timing can make it
sound totally different.

let me say shantel that I spent a couple hours
dissecting this song in Cool Edit 2000
(music editing software). I want to tell you that
tab is perfect. great job!! if these
other guys would take the chance to hear
the song they would see you got it right
on the nose. even the guy that thinks he's Tim
Mcgraw needs to study the song more.
Keep up the good work.I enjoy learning the
right tab to play a song
-RodeoinProStyle | 4/24/2003
One looks right to me so remeber not all guitars are tuned the same
-MattMoore | 5/5/2003
After listening to the song a few times and playing along, none of
you are completely right. Countryboy_ucf is right on for the G
chord. Shantel is right on for the Am chord. Combine those two
sections if the tab and you'll have the intro and verses.

This is close,

I watched Jason White (the guy who wrote the song)
play it this week at a concert and he tuned his guitar different. Not sure how though.

You all should check out his verson of his song

-ohsw2323 | 7/28/2004

-jamman304 | 8/12/2004

-CHADMAN | 12/17/2004

-KU_isbestever | 8/17/2005

-KnoxGodoy3 | 8/21/2005
i reckon all of y'all are wrong..every single one of 'em are shockin'!
Listen to my PowerTab, i reckon its right on the money...
-acoustic88 | 10/8/2005
What who says their tim mcgraw
-sam399 | 10/10/2005
About the different tuning thing, I think the intro is played by a banjo on the album. I could be wrong, but if it is a banjo then the tuning is definitely different.
Thanks for tabing this song y'all.
-sumodano | 10/15/2005
It's not a banjo...it's a resonator.
-ChiroTom5 | 6/15/2008
perfectly done thanks
