If you are talking aboutthe change after he goes to A. What I heard was a hammer on to the D string fouth fret so it's A/F#. Play for a little then pull off back to regular A. listen to the cd for rythm. -Val_03 | 9/21/2004 |
this song is called unopened door on the blue light cd -sooner66 | 3/5/2005 |
It doesn't sound quite right because the chords are in some sort of open key. I believe the correct chords go like this:
E-079900 Asus-002200 B-024400
The slight variations you are talking about are a pull off and a hammer on on E chord, on the G string on the 8th and 9th frets.
This is how I play it. Give it a try and let me know what you think. -twest1219 | 7/30/2005 |

alright I never do this but I was messing with this song combining stuff dad's showed me before along with the suggestions in the comments above. I'm definitely not an expert and don't have much business giving many tips, but here's my two-cents:
using essentially the same chords as twest suggested
E-79900--with that hammer on the G string, 8th fret A-x07600--with another hammer on the G string, 8th fret B-709800
Same progression, just try those fingerings for the chords. it's working for me. And if you have an ear for pickin out intros, those chords will help you find it. it includes a hammer on the high string 7th fret but I can't describe much more of it. like i said, not really my place ha! -jacobmphillips | 7/7/2012 |
His change is this
E- 079900 and he changes to E- 079800 A- 002200 and he chnages to A- 002100
those are the only chords he does it to -brandonduswalt33 | 1/12/2014 |
