sounds great!

In the last version of the Chorus, it isn't Newberry's train songs...it's Jerry Jeff's Train song...at least when Willie sings it with him...
-criley98 | 11/26/2003
I think it's " Jerry Jeff's pain songs". Then again, I have been wrong before.
-mboozer | 1/8/2004
It's "Jerry Jeff's train songs.." this it what it sounds like and it makes more sense because of his "Railroad Lady" song and others.
-rosbro | 1/13/2004
It does say Jerry Jeff's train songs but only on that last chorus when Willie is singing at the end every other time when Waylon is singing he says Newberry's train songs.

great tab just think the A chord over two garage should be changed to a Am. great tab though.
-zxxpress | 5/1/2004

-bobby smithermn | 1/28/2017
Yes, I’ll add a recent comment to keep this thing going. I don’t know why I never learned this song when I first started but I’m just now getting around to it now smdh I can dig the effort on the chords for this song. It’s perfect to me and I’m working on addin it to the song list. All time great song that’ll live on forever! Long live Outlaw Country
