Can't find tabs on many Whiskey Myers songs so I figured I'd do my best to share. This is most of the tab for "Calm Before

the Storm" by Whiskey Myers. I haven't tried to figure out the solo but this is pretty much all of the main parts of the

song. Hope you enjoy.

Intro (John Jeffers plays this) May not be EXACTLY how he plays it note for note but it's pretty dang close! (7)=the fifth

fret bent up to the D note on the 7th fret
e|-------------3------------3------------3-----------3-----|
b|--3----3-------3------3-----5------3-----3-----3---------|
g|--5b(7)--(7)-----5rb----5-----5p4----4-----4h5---5-------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------|

Then Cody Tate comes in with this:

e|-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
b|--10b----10brb-8--------------------------------------6h8---10b---11b----10brb--8----------------------------|
g|-----------------------7brb-5/4-----------------4/5-7--------------------------------7brb--5/4---------------|
D|------------------------------------7brb-5---------------------------------------------------------7brb-5----|
A|-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Then the verses are pretty much just G and C:
G C
Broke down in Stone Mountain Georgia
G C
Many miles from my home
G C
A trail of tears that I left searchin
G C
Some yours and my own
G C
So I'm out hear prayin to Jesus
G C
for a Ghost in the night
G C
Cuz all they want is a simple dollar
G C
and a song I won't write

Chorus:
e|--------------------15---15-/------------------------|
b|--------------------18b--18b/------------------------|
g|-----------------------------------------------------|
D|--3-4-5----------------------------------------------|
A|--3-4-5----------------------------------------------|
E|--1-2-3----------------------------------------------|
               Momma! .
e|-----------------------------------------------------|
b|-----------------------------------------------------|
g|-----------3-5br-3-5b--------------------------------|
D|--3-4-5----------------------------------------------|
A|--3-4-5----------------------------------------------|
E|--1-2-3----------------------------------------------|
  	     Let it be!
Bb C Bb F F F# G
There ain't no man gonna take this from me (listen to the song to get the last chords right with lyrics, repeat the whole

thing for the rest of the chorus)

Bridge:
F C G
Let it storm
F C G
I've got a few things on my mind
	     F C G
They wanna take it and break it and make it their own and it's
F C G
time I keep mine

Interlude before the solo:
e|-----------------------------------------------------|
b|-----------------------------------------------------|
g|-------------------------------------------3---------|
D|-----5-3-0------3h5-------5-3-0----------------------|(play several times until solo kicks in)
A|------------3h5-------------------3h5----------------|
E|--3--------------------3-----------------------------|

Riff played during the solo (sorry don't have the solo yet)
e|-----------------------------------------------------|
b|-----------------------------------------------------|
g|---5-5-5-3b-----3-5brb3-5p3------5-5-5-3b----------3-|and there are basically different variations of licks that John
D|---5-5------5---------------5p3--5-5------5----3-5---|Jeffers plays after the first part of the riff.
A|---------------------------------------------5-------|
E|-----------------------------------------------------|

Well this is all I have! let me know if any of it confuses you or you think I got part of it wrong.
