I'll Keep Coming Back To You.
Beth Nielsen Chapman.
Album: Greatest Hits.

Intro: Am7/G

G Am7/G G Bb6 A7
Seems like after all we've been through
   D G Am7/G
We would have learned by now,
Em7 A7
Never to fight for who gets the last word,
   Am7 D7
It doesn't matter anyhow,
                G Bb6 A7
But 'round and 'round we go in circles,
D G
Trying to work things through,
Bm Em7 A7 D/A A7
And sometimes it feels like miles between us,
   Am7 Bm Am7/G
But I keep coming back to you.

(Chorus)
         Em7
And it's rough, And it's tough,
         A7 C D7 Am7/G
And it's harder than anything I've ever tried to do,
      Em7 A7
But I love you so much that in spite of the struggle,
Am7 Bm G Gm A7 D D7 G Am7/G G
I keep coming back to you.

G Bb6 A D
Hold me now, just think about this room,
                       G
That we have shared so long,
      Em7 A
We've studied that map of cracks on the ceiling,
Am7 D7
Talking till the break of dawn,
G Bb6 A7
Oh there is something strong as history,
D Gmaj7
Telling me this love is true,
          Em7 A7
They say "Follow your heart and you'll be happy"
  Am7 Bn G
So I keep coming back to you.

(Chorus)
         Em7
And it's rough, And it's tough,
         A7 C D7 Am7/G
And it's harder than anything I've ever tried to do,
      Em7 A7
But I love you so much that in spite of the struggle,
Am7 G/B C C# D7 B Em
I keep coming back to you,
         Bm Em7
And it's rough, And it's tough,
         A7 C D7 Am7/G
And it's harder than anything I've ever tried to do,
      Em7 A7
But I love you so much that in spite of the struggle,
Am7 G/B C Gm A7 D7 G Am7/G Am7/G Am7/G G
I keep coming back to you.

Trying to stay close to the original arrangement use a C to G chord transition at the beginning of the first verse and again at the end of the first verse.

Thank you for your comment I'm pleased others enjoy these chord postings, your correct on the 1st verse it is C/G. I usually play Am7/G (302013) throughout as Beth is using that in the song anyway, either way is good.
