Capo 1

D A
Skipping rocks, Skipping rope
D G
Laughing at all my best friends jokes
D A
Things I loved when I was a kid
D A
Muddy roads, muddy feet
D G
I didn't live on no black top street
Bm A G A D
Things have changed a lot but I never did

Chorus:
D G A D
And I don't want to think about tomorrow
D G A D
I don't need anything money can buy
D G A Bm
I don't have to beg, steel or borrow
D G A D
I just wanna live until I die

Living right, living in
This little old town I grew up in
But I still held on to my dreams
Standing proud, standing tall
Standing smack dab in the middle of in all
I don't worry about things that I can't change

Chorus

Bridge:
    Bm Bm/A
And everything around me
    G A D
Are things I dearly love
    Bm Bm/A
And every night I get on my knees
    G A
And thank the lord above

Up ½ step (Capo on 2 using same chords)
Chorus

Anyone notice the banjo played very soft in the third verse? (the spoken/chanted verse)Sure sounds like the theme to James Bond, but I've never been known to have great ears.

retard how are you going to change capo's during the middle of a song.
-justin0628 | 9/13/2004
Justin- Larry's tab is perfect in relation to the song...pause for a
moment after "thank the lord above", and free sing "that I don't have to"
while switching the capo to the 2nd fret...
its very easy to do.. and if u cant handle that,
then tab the song how u want it

In that last chorus, try keeping the capo on the 1st Fret and playing C for D; F for G; G for A; and Am for the Bm
