Son it ain't what you're drivin

        Material possessions
 	 (G) (A)
        Won't matter up there
 	 (D)
        And someday in heaven
 	                     (G)
        When the Angels all sing
             (D)
        These rags that I'm wear'n

Will be fit for a king
 	  	           *(D)

(D)
He's fighting a fever

In spite of the chill

And he speaks of God's will

(D)
His body is weakened

But his faith is still strong
(G) (D)
For he's filled with conviction

For the mission he's on

(C) (G)
He knows soon in heaven
(D)
He'll be homeless no more
(G) (D)
And his work will soon echo
(E)
From that far distant shore

Chorus

 	 *(D)
         And some day in heaven
 	                      (G)
         When the angles all sing
 	  (D)
         These rags that I'm wearing
 	  (A) (C)(G)(D)
Will be fit for a king

Shooter recorded this with his old band Stargunn. I don't believe it was ever released, but the album is called "The only way up is down." It is also floating around on a Stargunn live bootleg.
