Tired Of This Town

Guitar tuned down 1/2 step:

Asus2-E-D

Asus2 E D
Oh my Lord, what a beautiful day

Asus2 E D
The sun is shining yeah how it chased those clouds away

Asus2 E
Jump in my old blue car and I

D
Drive around to see how far

Asus2 E D
The road will take me off today

CHORUS
                    Asus2 E D
I said hey, hey, hey (hey), I'm tired of this town.

                      Asus2 E D
But it's a beautiful (day) day, tired of this town.

Asus2 E D
My how the cowboys ride away

Asus2 E D
The river's running high, yeah it chased their sins away

Asus2 E D
The afternoon I drive to the 'ol Gruene Hall

Asus2 E D
Stare at the pictures of my heroes on the wall.

REPEAT CHORUS.

F#m E D
Stand of the outside looking in

F#m E D
Chasing a dream I've had since I don't remember when

F#m E D
Every turn I take's like a roadblock in the way

F#m E D
She'll be running for cover Lord, but oh what a beautiful day

what do u mean by tune a guitar half a step down, and how do i do it? i am a beginner.

Tuning down a half step means you lower each string down a half step, so u have standard tuning of EADGBe, well get a tuner and lower each string to D#G#C#F#A#D# (EbAbDbGbBbDb) (sharp/flat --however u wanna look at it)...OR...if you dont have a tuner, and want to do it real fast, capo the 1st fret and play G(sus2) D A and Em for the chords. There is a good lesson on capo transition on this site too under "Lessons"

Sorry, G(sus2) D C and the Em, I didn't mean A

Since my tuner doesnt really show sharp and flat on tuning I found it easier to put a capo on 1 and tune my guitar to standard tuning (EADGBe). Take the capo off and youre tuned.
