on the album justin plays it down a half step or you can capo it on the first fret
-southernpride94 | 6/25/2011
Dude this song is to good to botch the lyrics like that
-GibbyGuitar8 | 6/26/2011
Dummys, Lyrics not botched, this is the original version of the song, the way Justin wrote and preformed it live till he cut it on cd, and still plays it live on occasion. you can find a youtube vid of him and these lyrics if u look hard enough. Well done !

They should really give us the option to edit this. Where is Deimoine? Cause it's not Des Moines, There's no such thing as a brim, it's "bream". who is skinnerd? do you mean Skynyrd? Please fix it.
-jteeters | 5/2/2013
The actual lyrics that most people hear on the radio do actually say: "Up there in Des Moines." So he is "technically" correct on it, just mis-spelled.
