The G/F# isn't an F, it is a G/F# because
you're walking down from G to Em and that is
the passing chord.

And what also sounds good to me, is the way i play it i think personally. I would on the last chorus instead a C at "Dont close your eyes..." i would through in an Am and when you sing the last line of the chorus instead of G,walk from C down to i guess its like a B/Cb? to an Am to the G for the ending..? idk i like it, i guess you could try it out an see how u like it.
