this will also give you a pretty good idea on how to pick anything but mine.this is my first tab so if something's wrong say something -tnhonky | 12/16/2004 |
Small lyrics change (only on the new album). On the new album, the line has changed to "...when I passed out from too much CRUZAN and diet" -kstillman | 1/27/2005 |
Hi there, I farely new at playing. Would you pick this song with your fingers or a pick? Thanks. -sixstring5 | 2/9/2005 |
Good Tabing.. It pretty much right -clearmike | 2/15/2005 |
First of all...great tab. been lookin for this one.
to answer the picking question...i use my fingers, that seems to work better for me cause movin a pick around isnt my strong point...good luck
thanks again for the tab -frischy17 | 2/17/2005 |
Hey question, I new to this site and don't exactly know how things work so...during the chorus do you just continue to pick that sting of notes (the "I've read alot of books...) until you get to the end of the chorus where he says (to the way that I see it)... Might sound stupid but I just want to make sure so I don't learn the wrong way to play it. Thanks and by the way... good job with this. If it wasn't for people like you dummies like me could never play these songs. -bostonroy | 2/18/2005 |
what you gotta do is just keep a steady beat and make the your picking pattern just flow. just keep playing it with the song and you'll get it. -tnhonky | 2/23/2005 |
pretty good tab...no there is not a lyric change...The original song on the when the sun goes down album it said malibu and diet* -50centgunit | 2/23/2005 |
50- notice that's why I specifically pointed out that the lyrics change was on the NEW album only. Thanks again for the tab, Honky. -kstillman | 3/17/2005 |
This tab isn't very good it sounds like you got the two guitars mixed together

Ok. I've never used a capo before so I'm confused. If the capo is on the 2nd fret then how do you play on the 1st and 2nd fret? In the tab whenever there is a 1, 2, etc. does that mean the first, second, etc. fret after the capo? Sorry I know you all think I'm dumb or something. Thanks to whoever answers. -keldog28 | 5/31/2005 |
keldog, you're right.Play the chords in relation to the capo. In other words the capo is now your new starting point on the guitar neck. Good luck! p.s. there are no dumb questions when it comes to learning to play. That's what we are all here for. Rock on!! -guitarookie | 6/18/2005 |
