Any question that this will go to #1?
I don't think so. I said it the first
time I heard it on 9/15. Mark my words.
He's done it again. Awesome chord changes
and his guitar player hits the perfect solo
every time. The best in country music.
Perfect tone for the song on the solo
as well.....of course. The Chuck Berry/SRV
sound on "No Shoes, No Shirt....", the way
he sneaks up on it and then hits the first
4 notes of "When The Sun Goes Down" solo,
and now this one. The guy is great. We should
all know his name. Unfortunately we don't.

And by the way, thanks for the perfect tab.

Just one comment in regards to the intro and verse
The "D"s should be Gmaj7's
The way I would play it in this song is
e-2
b-3
g-0
d-0
a-2
E-3
I found if you even add an "A" note to that (making it a Gmaj7add9 or D/G -that's just a D with a G as the bass note) it tends to really bring out the feel of the song
That chord is simply:
e-2
b-3
g-2
d-0
a-X
E-3
If you listen to the bass in the song he doesn't hit a "D" or even an "F#" he just stays at "G" during the switch from G to D (actually Gmaj7add9) Let me know what you think. Give it a try
Nice work though.

It is not called a G6, a G6 includes E as part of the chord, what you are calling a G6 is actually a G with a B for the bass. Notated as G/B.

better learn some chord structures.....chords havew MANY NAMES...you say potatoe I say spud!!
18....I'be been doing this 25 years.....
Let me make you a list of the many ways you can play a "G6"
G6 = 320000
G6 = 320030
G6 = 320053
G6 = 320430
G6 = 322030
G6 = 322033
G6 = x20033
G6 = 020000
G6 = 020003
I could go on ;)

A G/B could be done the same way....played many many ways and called many things....I left a note at the bottom of the tab....
