Verse 1:

D G
One coffee cup, one toothbrush, one set of keys
                   D G
one car out in the drive
D G
One half of the closet empty one half of the bed cold at
D G
night
A G
One of us just up and disappeared
A G
That only leaves one of us 'round here

Chorus:
D G D G
Lonesome, can drive a man insane
D G D G
Lonesome, is the sad part of the game
Em G
Win some, lose some
D G D G
Lonesome

D G
One man and one woman, one too many cold and bitter
D G
fights
D G
One high power lawyer, one piece of paper they want me to
D G
sign
A G
The hand she used to hold picks up the pen

Nice effort. Accurate.
Easy to read.
Should list the songwritters though
Perhaps you could add a tid-bit or two,
something extra like a lick or tunings?
Nice job though.

Thanks Eric. I will add the songwriters. As far as extras, I'm just
happy I got this far!

This looks really good to me. Only thing I can see wrong is that
the Em's in the verses are actually A's. The Em in the choruses may
be an Em7, but it sounds good as an Em. Other than that, it's great!
-cmtboy | 4/22/2003
It's fixed. Thanks for the input!
