Intro: G D G

Verse:
        D
Its 7:35
                     Em
Shes someone elses wife
                         C
And I can get on with my life
                  G
And that thrills me
                  D
She married him today
                          Em
Her daddy gave the bride away
                               C
I heard a tear rolled down her face
                  Am
And that kills me
          Cadd9 (Am)
cuz now I, can see why
              (Cadd9) (Cmaj7)
Shes finally crying

Chorus:

G D
How was I supposed to know
                       Em
She was slowly lettin go
                             C
If I was puttin her through hell
                  G
Hell - I couldn't tell
                        D
She could've given me a sign
                 Em
And opened up my eyes
                      C
How was I supposed to see
          D G D G
She never cried in front of me

Verse 2:

G D
Yeah maybe I mightve changed
                    Em
Its hard for me to say
                          C
But the storys still the same
               G
And its a sad one
                D
And Ill always believe
                        Em
If she ever did cry for me
                               C
They were tears that you cant see
                 Am
You know the bad ones
          (Cadd9) (Am)
And now I, can see why
              (Cadd9) (Cmaj7)
Shes finally crying

Chorus:

G D
How was I supposed to know
                       Em
She was slowly lettin go
                             C
If I was puttin her through hell
                  G
Hell - I couldnt tell
                        D
She couldve given me a sign
                 Em
And opened up my eyes
                      C
How was I supposed to see

i think the mystery chords are pre>C/pre> and pre>Am/pre> then pre>C/pre> and pre>Am/pre> then pre>C/pre>.

It's close... but I think it's something weird that doesn't sound quite right to me... any other input?
-CRToon83 | 7/25/2008
I'm with Blake. I think it's Am C Am C
-danieldogg101 | 7/26/2008

i think it is Am Bm C. if thats not it sounds real close to it
-igotthe6 | 7/30/2008
i agree it is for sure Am and C
-israelv | 8/7/2008
I'm pretty sure it is Am C Am C G/B to walk down on the cryin' part. Play it with just the bass strings it goes to a B bass string after the last C.
-stephen2130 | 8/14/2008
my opinion is that it is bm c c...or really close to bm

Great tab CRToon83, I love this song! I think the missing chords might be (replacing your *?* in order) Cadd9, Am, Cadd9 , Cmaj7. Cadd9 = x23033, Cmaj7 = x23000 (so it's just removing your fingers from the 1st & 2nd strings). Also, I think that the very last chords G, C, G, C sound a little better as G, Cadd9, G, Cadd9. Playing the G as: 320033 makes it a real easy transition. I hope that all sounds right.
-kd2666 | 9/17/2008
It's fairly obvious that the missing chords are Am C Am C. You should update it.
