Llano Estacado by Cooder Graw

Lyrics may be off. I had to get them from the recording
so if anyone knows something is wrong let me know.

(chorus)
      A D
I was born on the Llano Estacado, yeah.
E A
I was raised here in this land.
                         D
They tell me its a loud country, yeah.
              E A
And I'm gonna stay here, make it as loud as I can.

(verse)
A D
Well I'd never say I'm a brand new kind of outlaw.
E A
But I'm doing the same ole kind of crime.
                                         D
I've been playing behind all the bars in Texas.
                E A
Cause thats the only place I care to do my time.

(chorus)

(lead break)

(verse)
A D
From the turn rows and caliche roads you can hear the sound
       E A
Of the Texas Moon Palace coming from the heart of town.
                                                     D
Now the Palace is closed and you can still go to the Nat or the Golden Light.
     E A
Hear good music damn near every night.

(chorus)
                E A
Yeah, I'm gonna stay here make it as loud as I can.

I think it is "from the dirt roads and kaliche roads you can hear the
sound" kaliche is a chalkie white rock covering alot of the back roads
in Texas.
